We paid to get this printer because my husband said TRONXY is awesome and he trust the brand. So the first week this printed was the best thing ever! Everything was perfect!

I know not to expect perfection on a $170 3D printer, but it's better than I expected. The only limitations are the cheap filament I'm using (the included PLA was better quality lol) and that modifying the printer is more compatible with experienced 3D printer enthusiasts. I've seen some modifications online I'm planning on trying (like moving the spool and run out sensor to the top for less resistance), but it's a decent experience out of the box. The wiring from the PSU to the main board could use better connectors instead of bare wires which may lead to problems down the road, but this is an easy modification with a cheap kit on Amazon. The print quality is really good for this price point, at least with the included filament compared to the cheap stuff I bought by mistake. I'm sure you'll get better results with more high quality filament. I used the print settings in the manual, with some minor tweaks, which seems to be working great so I'm happy they included those instructions. Do your research, but I'd recommend this for first time users if they want something cheap but good to start, then work your way up from there.

I was skeptical at first buying such an inexpensive printer. Of course that was AFTER a few things I had to do because of some poor quality control from the factory. The very first print failed spectacularly after about 25% of the way in. I tried again and had nothing but failure after failure for the next several hours. So I stepped back and figured what did I expect from at "cheap" printer.I went back to it a couple of days later and I just could NOT level the printer. It seemed that every time I leveled it, the head would just bury itself into the bed. I raised the arm and went to double check things and the heat block FELL OUT of the extruder! Upon closer inspection I found MANY screws that were loose. In the extruder, on the bed, etc. Just about EVERY screw that was installed at the factory had to be tightened. Once I tightened everything down the printer started printing properly. It has been steadily cranking out prints right along side my Prusa Mini with darn near the same quality as the Prusa. So, ok, once ya give it a good once over out of the package it IS a darn nice little printer for the cost.I don't much like the design of the extruder, it can be a bit of a pain loading filament. But after a bit of practice it's not so bad. It does kind of give me a feel of a bowden masquerading as a direct drive, but it works fairly well.I've printed PLA, PLA+, PETG and TPU. All with success. My main reason for getting this printer was a review that said it could handle TPU and other Flex materials pretty well. So far I printed out 10 tires, 4 small and 6 large. The small ones came out nicely, but due to a bit of a higher infll not terribly squishy. The larger ones I used a lower infill and they were very "tire like".I am impressed with this machine and certainly would consider adding another one to the line up. Of course some better QC out of the factory would be appreciated.

Works well as a support material in my Bambu Labs CX1. However it is NOT true water soluble. It softens, NOT dissolves.

This is my third 3d printer and i bought it for small things, because running Anycubic kobra plus for one or two parts not bigger than 50 millimetres doesn't have much sense. And guess what, this Tronxy Crux1 became my favourite one in just one day.I did some very small upgrades, like leveling springs upgraded to silicone rubber spring, andfilament spool holder from above.Assembly was easy, 10 minutes, and bed leveling to, after that I didn't touch bed leveling, just checked yesterday, what is showing that is still perfect, after 2-3 week of printing - I believe bed leveling would be enough once per month. All in all, I'm very surprised how good and actually fast is this small machine and accurate though.Oh yeah.. calibration E-steps is almost not needed, X and Y axes are accurate perfectly, Z axis haven't checked with gauge, but according to printed parts is alsi accurate.Extruder calibration had 1 mm less than 100mm extruded, and I left it as it is.

I couldn't be happier with this prin. very simple to assemble and very very simple to operate for less than 200 i had to jump in and i have been printing day and night since. Awesome for small parts, so far i have made 20 different parts (including upgrades for the printer itself, very cool) I couldn't find anywhere, it spits them out and keeps running, and running, and running....

Even tho this printer is small in size I actually like this one over all of my other ones so far. There might have been just a few things to correct right off the bat and after correcting them and level it seems at the time is problem free. As of right now that is.I am surprised to see less rubber wheels and more linear rods used on this printer. When I received the printer the boden tube was already broke off where the filiment sensor is so I removed the broken part and inserted the rest of the tube in.I had no idea this is a direct drive all in one extruder hotend and was surprised when I got a closer look when feeding the filiment. The tube is what threw me off on that. The filiment is really difficult to get in though the hot end even when the tube is removed from the extruder. Have to just play and twist and move the filiment then it just goes in. The extruder is made with all metal gears and I like that since the plastic ones like to Crack. It is really odd to have the roll of filiment backwards to feed and can see why because of the sensor for run out.I found that all the belts were very loose and needed to tighten them up before use. 1 bolt on the x axis the nut was about to fall off and tightened it up. Needed to loosen the y axis 3 bolts and pull the motor out to tighten that belt. This does not have alot of rubber wheels and to me that's great because can avoid flat wheels and replacing them alot down the road.Leveling the platform is easy on this one. If you need the nozzle closer after leveling out there is a screw that touches the z sensor that can be adjusted if needed.I found that when a print is started and need the hotend closer or further away there is a setting to adjust whole printing. When the printer is done it actually shuts down into a sleep mode. I even had it ask to finish a print when I turned it off at the start of a print to check something and turned it back on. Said yes to see what it would do and it started right were it left off after a re check on the sensors. Very cool.I am sure I am forgetting things to write but I think you get the idea.Good Luck to all of you and the printer your getting. Down the road I will most likely buying another one for the price is right on this one.Keep on printing.

This is one of two 3d printers replacing my broken down ender 3 pro... let me tell you, assembling the E3 was like an exercise in patience.. this thing? Put together in minutes. There were literally 7 screws, and 2 of those were optional! I love how small this thing is compared to the e3 pro, and I don't lose much of a build volume either. most of my prints on the ender 3 were smaller, and so aside from having to re-slice them with new settings, I'm pretty much able to print the exact same. This creates very clean and solid prints, however I do notice a bit of ghosting and some slight wiggle.. this may be due to vibrations, since it's such a small printer... either way, i'm happy with the quality, and I find that the size and portability, as well as the easy assembly make up for the loss of 20mm of build volume. Worth it! Especially with the upgraded PEI sheet.

I got this because of the price and thought it would be a cheap printer for my son. The quality is amazing and I would say it rivals the prusa mini. The handle makes it easy to move around and the all metal wheels and rails make it print super quickly!

Received yesterday and completed 1 print and now in the middle of a 1 1/2-2 day print, 8 hours in with no problems. The final prints look great. No problems with adhesion. I have a PEI steelsheet bed and ABL. I always set my first layer to .03mm to avoid adhesion issues. I routinely dry my filament with a dryer during and sometimes before printing. My dryer keeps humidity down to 10% once it's been running for 10 or more minutes.I followed another user's recommendations and set my hot end to 225C and bed at 60C.I did not try a temp tower but so far prints have been amazing. Will post pics next week.

I have been 3D printing for years mostly PLA+ and PETG. I was building up an aquila and thought for fun II would try TPU, Tronxy reached out to and asked if I would try their material so I did. I had to upgrade my extruder drive to allow printing with such a soft product I recommend the Redrex Dual Gear Extruder, it will direct fit any "ender 3" based model. As for the filament, it printed well @ 230c stuck well with a little hairspray and printed nicely. this was the first print with an unknown filament and the print turned out first try. I would recommend giving this a try. I included a picture I need to say this was printed quite small with a .25 layer height I was in a hurry to get a sample, but it is extremely easy to print with if your extruder can handle it.
